Account Executive (Finance Analyst)

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and estimates within deadlines.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including invoices, billing, collections, payments, and banking transactions.
  • Monitor daily bank balances, cash book, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure inter-company transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adherence to SOPs including fixed assets control, inventory control, and other financial procedures.
  • Provide accounting guidance and support to other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain an organized filing and documentation system for accounting records.
  • Handle other accounting-related functions and ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Possess LCCI qualification / Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of accounting work experience; fresh graduates are welcomed to apply the job. Proficient in accounting software (Autocount preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel for financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise across departments and external parties.
  • A problem solver, who can work in an unstructured and complex environment.
  • Fluent in spoken Mandarin or Cantonese and English for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
