FORWARDING & OPERATION MANAGER

Key Responsibilities :-

Act as the main point of contact for customers on shipment inquiries and updates, resolve customer complaints, delays, or shipment issues promptly, maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, and provide excellent customer service and support

Coordinate end-to-end shipment process (export/import/transshipment), ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements, monitor shipment movement and ensure timely delivery, and coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for cargo handling

Oversee full branch operations including Customer Service, Operations, Customs & Trucking

Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents and system entries, handle customs clearance coordination and documentation, ensure compliance with import/export procedures and Incoterms, and maintain proper record-keeping for all shipments

Handle shipment delays, cargo damage, or customs issues, provide solutions and alternatives to minimize disruption, and provide internal updates on shipment status and issues to relevant stakeholders

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, agents, and vendors

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, SOPs, and company policies

Monitor cost control, service quality, and operational efficiency

Handle key account management and resolve escalations

Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management

Requirements:-

Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service and operations in freight forwarding industry

Knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms

Good communication and coordination skills

Good command of Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments

中文 proficiency (added advantage due to business communication needs)

Experience with freight forwarding software systems

Understanding of customs clearance procedures in Malaysia

Knowledge of international shipping regulations

Experience in maritime logistics or sea freight operations

Familiarity with warehouse and transport coordination
