Scaffold Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scaffold Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Hilltoz Marketing in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction site operations. As the Scaffold Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, while also providing guidance and supervision to the scaffolding crew.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the scaffolding crew, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and work procedures
  • Coordinate the installation, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites
  • Liaise with project managers and other site personnel to ensure that scaffolding requirements are met
  • Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify and address any safety concerns or maintenance issues
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to the scaffolding crew, promoting the development of their skills
  • Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, including inventory, maintenance, and incident reports
  • Collaborate with the construction team to optimise scaffolding solutions and minimise disruptions to the project timeline
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Scaffold Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding design, installation, and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and lead a team
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Certification in scaffolding or a related construction trade, such as a Scaffolding Supervisor Certificate
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
