Senior Account Manager - Whole Foods Market

<strong>Overview of the Role</strong> <br/><ul><li>We are looking for an Senior Account Manager to call on Whole Foods Market. If you have a passion for food, love selling and building relationships, this could be the role for you! </li><li>Success in this role looks like strong organizational skills, ability to work on projects with competing deadlines, and excellent communication. You will work with clients to build promotional plans, align strategies, present and maintain item assortment, and build connectivity with Whole Foods Market. </li><li>Remote; must be local to the Austin, TX or surrounding area (within a 100 mile radius) to attend in-person meetings at Whole Foods Market HQ once a month</li><li>Salary: $100,000 - $115,000, based on experience, qualifications, and skills </li><li>Travel Requirements: Less than 10% - i.e. industry trade shows, client national sales meetings, & or any other events that would be warranted; all other travel is within assigned market (automobile) </li><li>At C.A. we're not looking for perfection, just people that want to commit to a us and grow their careers long-term. Fortune</strong> <br/><ul><li>Create and execute Whole Foods specific sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets </li><li>Meet regularly with existing customers to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to address those needs, provide all maintenance, new item submissions, promotional support, etc. </li><li>Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers & clients </li><li>Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and clients and be available and responsive to their real-time needs. </li><li>Work effectively/professionally with company's internal departments (Client Development Team, Marketing, Insights, Client Services, Business Support Specialists & Accounts Receivable), assuring elite management of our clients and customers businesses </li><li>Attend all required national trade shows, market specific sales meetings, client specific sales meetings, or any other necessary functions (established by your supervisor) </li><li>Approach ALL aspects of the role with a winning, "can-do," positive, progressive, solution-based mindset </li></ul><br/> <strong>What You Should Bring to the Table</strong> <br/><ul><li>Full understanding of all things Whole Foods, their policies, procedures, structure, requirements, etc. </li><li>Established relationships with Whole Foods buying team </li><li>Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry (specifically food products) </li><li>4-year bachelor's degree, and/or similar industry experience </li><li>Proficient with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) </li><li>Travel Requirements: Minimal overnight travel required (less than 10%) - i.e. industry trade shows, client national sales meetings, & or any other events that would be warranted; all other travel is within assigned market (automobile) </li></ul><br/> <strong>Perks</strong> <br/><ul><li>PTO and Sick days </li><li>11 paid company holidays per year </li><li>1 Floating holiday </li><li>2 paid volunteer days per year </li><li>3 months fully paid parental leave (regardless of gender) </li><li>Medical, dental, and vision </li><li>Paid company life insurance </li><li>401k with company match </li><li>Bonus eligible</li><li>Summer hours (half day Fridays from Memorial Day thru Labor Day) </li><li>Work from home flexibility </li></ul>
