Job Description

HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee daily HR operations and employee lifecycle processes (onboarding to offboarding)
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring accuracy of HR-related inputs
  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases and counselling
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead recruitment for group of company
  • Drive hiring for production workforce to meet operational requirements
  • Partner with department managers on manpower planning and job requirements
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding
  • Monitor recruitment effectiveness and continuously improve hiring processes
Learning, Leadership & Capability Development
  • Support leadership and capability development initiatives, including identification and development of high-potential employees
  • Partner with department heads to identify skills gaps and implement development plans
  • Coordinate training programmes and promote a culture of continuous learning
HR Policies & Group Alignment
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and practices
  • Work with Managing Director to align and adapt local HR practices in line with Group direction and local requirements
  • Participate in HR initiatives, including policy updates and process improvement projects
Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and retention
  • Support internal communication, employee activities, and company events
  • Gather employee feedback and follow through on action plans
  • Partner with department heads to promote a positive and productive work environment
HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and analyse HR metrics such as turnover, hiring lead time, and absenteeism
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance HR effectiveness

Required Qualifications
  • Experience supervising or guiding 30 and above team members is preferred
  • At least 5 years of HR experience.
  • Hands-on experience dealing with government authorities (e.g., Labour Office, Immigration, EPF, SOCSO, Lembaga Hasil Malaysia)
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Well-versed in Malaysian labour laws and regulations
